HIFU Skin Tightening
Good preparation and aftercare help you get the best, safest results. These are general guidelines. Alma will review your skin, health history and medications at your consultation and give you personalized instructions, which always come first. Questions after your visit? Call or text 210-952-3679.
Before Your Treatment
- A consultation is required first so Alma can confirm HIFU is right for you.
- Come with clean skin, no makeup or lotion on the treatment area.
- Tell us if you are pregnant, have metal implants or fillers in the treatment area, or have an active skin infection or open wounds there.
- Avoid sunburn in the treatment area before your visit.
After Your Treatment
- Mild redness, swelling or tenderness can occur and usually fades within a few hours to a few days.
- Some people notice light tingling or soreness when touching the area for a short time. This is normal.
- You can usually return to normal activities and makeup right away.
- Keep skin hydrated and wear broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily.
- Results develop gradually over the following weeks to months as collagen rebuilds.
Call us if you notice blistering, signs of infection, or anything that worries you. For severe reactions, seek medical care right away.
